Clients and people I interact with are often surprised how fast I can cut through the fluff and discern what’s going on, amazed. What I loathe about this “deal phenomenon,” is that by selling your product for $5, you’re selling your brand, product, and experience short. I have a hard time to anticipate your P+L sheet on one $5 lunch. Labor, facilities, utilities, costs, preparation, delivery, service personnel, and everything considered, how are you making money? How is your brand making a difference? How is your experience staying first and foremost in the minds of your patrons and clients? You’re not and its not.
