Meet The Citrusy Bunch
Get to know the main folks at QCMG. We’re the hardest working people we know that work at the same company we do. We love what we do, and are pretty excited about it. Everyday we work with amazing people and their brands.
There’s more people behind the scenes, but that’s why they’re not on here–they’re behind the scenes–and like they it that way. Oh, well.
Principal, Strategy & Design + Top Chef
Stæven (@staeven_frey) is our founder and fearless leader. He hasn’t had us walk on coals yet, but we’d do it if he did. He guides our business, our clients’ design strategy, and preaches the gospel of energizing brands.
He drinks Coke Zero, loves white chocolate, and has an affinity for all things orange–probably a little too much. Once, when he was little, he ate so many orange things, we’re told he turned orange, just a little bit.
He recently polished off an MFA from Full Sail University, where he was Valedictorian, which we’re told is a kind of orange too.
the QCMG Mascot
The Orangebird is our patron saint of creativity, but actually goes by the initials OB, for Oliver Bentley.
Surprisingly, the “Oliver@” email gets hundreds of emails a day. A recent investigation of Ollie’s email discovered us an array of travel magazines, Florida entertainment offers, and even a membership to “Citrus XXX: Raw and Unpeeled.” Thus ended our investigation.
We sometime dispatch calls to Olivers’s line, allowing people to listen to Anita Bryant’s “Florida Orangebird” song, over and over. They surprisingly enjoy it, but eventually hang up.
He sits in our office–in multiple locations, which ever he prefers. He enjoys practical jokes, sitting in the fridge, and head-firsting in the tapioca pudding. He’s arch enemies with Scooter, the orange office cat, whose not featured on this site due our “not too many creatures clause” or the unspoken “one mascot only” rule.

We’re always looking to meet our fellow neighbors and designers in our industry–then hire them! Relationships are the most valuable thing we have, so developing them is important to us.
If you’re interested in working for us, we’re flattered. So, check out the Careers Page. Let’s go from there.
